Sophorn Meas Founder | President
Sophorn Meas brings over decades of hands-on experience as a project technical Service manager, field service engineer, and laboratory equipment serviceman. With more than 10 years dedicated specifically to NSF 49 accreditation work and 15 years of field service, Sophorn has built a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted field evaluators.
Before founding BioCert Laboratory, Sophorn served as Director of Field Service at a regional laboratory services firm, with experience leading a team of certified engineers/technicians across multiple sectors and overseeing lab instrument operations for some of the most demanding research and clinical environments in the Northeast. That experience, combined with a deep commitment to accuracy, safety, and client service, became the foundation on which BioCert was built.
BioCert Laboratory was established with a simple but powerful mission: to provide research institutions, biotech companies, hospitals, and clinical laboratories with certification services they can trust, backed by NSF 49 standards and a team that treats every cabinet as if patient safety depends on it, because it does.
Sophorn holds a degree in Cybersecurity and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Merrimack College's School of Engineering and Computational Science, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to laboratory safety and data integrity in an increasingly digital world.
When he is not in the field, Sophorn is actively developing BioCert's capabilities, expanding its national service footprint, researching, and building partnerships that bring world-class biosafety compliance to laboratories of all sizes nationwide.
